It's been 11 months (and a week) since I got serious about doing 3D renders in Daz Studio. As of July 29, I have released about 272 renders in over 85 "pages". (Not counting 40 more pages completed and scheduled made from another 300 renders.)
I've released 107 photo manipulations and captions according to my spreadsheet. 81 of which are one-shots with no links to other stories or narratives. (Jessica and Dora have 8 episodes, Who Knew? has 5, Buying Gift for Wife has 6, etc.)
I made my first Daz Shop purchase on August 24, 2024. (According to their records, I downloaded the free Daz software way back in Feb 2013 as well. Could have been doing this over a decade if I really tried working with it then. I think my computer at the time wasn't aimed at high video performance and it was just too frustrating. The Daz Tutorial library on YouTube was probably also non-existent at that time.)
But I digress. Attached to this are a couple old photomanipulations reinterpreted as 3D renders. They're never going to be exact. Hopefully the old caption text still works with the reinterpretation. These four are some of the original manipulations I did way back in 2015. By and large, I took two approaches to this: Match the original as well as I can. Or, just reinterpret it. The Chocolate one is a complete rewrite, as you may have noticed.
Below is a list of my ten oldest manipulations and why they are or aren't here. :)
Arms On Sofa, the first manipulation I posted. It turns 10 on August 7. Now it faces a 3D rival. :)
Mannequin in the Doorway (Deferred) - Last October we saw the sequel to this one. I'm not posting a rendering today. I need more time. And it's already gotten a bit of loving recently. Maybe the next batch of reinterpretations.
Rundown Gynoid - Don't like the clothing on the original.
Swimwear At The Beach - Again, clothing matching is damn near impossible. Although, I kind of like the new one better. Minor text changes for the clothing.
Who Knew? (Deferred) - I'll likely reinterpret the entire Who Knew? She Knew series in a future posting.
Help Yourself To Some Chocolate - With so many people in the original, any attempt to recreate the look of all those people would have taken weeks and still end unsatisfactorily. This version is a complete rewrite with the same basic premise.
Zip It! (Deferred) - One of my all time favs. And I can't get the zipper to look as good as just manipping the zipper in. Maybe some other time.
