POLL: Scheduling and Stuff June 2025
Added 2025-06-16 04:00:05 +0000 UTCThis didn't start out as a poll. Question: Are the release dates I'm currently using good for you? Would a different pair of days make it easier for you to read and engage with my releases? The poll is at the bottom. Yes, I ask for engagement too much. Okay, now on to the original purpose of this post:
I just spent a lot of time fixing, refixing, transcripting, and ultimately scheduling about 40 comics. In the attached image, you can see the upcoming schedule. Statue Rentals and Little Witch comics are going to twice each month each. Little Witch will occupy the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Statue Rentals will be on second and fourth Tuesdays. This year, July, September, and December have five Tuesdays. A one off comic will appear on July 29. And December might have a short story on the 23rd and the Statue Rental that should be there would be moved to the 30th. No idea what will happen September 30 at the moment.
The other interesting bit in the schedule is the lack of prose stories after October. I'm working on it. I expect to have Ted's Dolls Season 5 ready by then, hopefully soon. I have a bunch of stories that need finishing as well. The image shows you what stories are definitely ready, such as the rest of Show And Tell and the eight-parter called Sold. There's even word counts in the image so I don't have to bore you with working them into coherent sentences. Let's see that image here:

Well, one bit of boring word counts. There's 55k words stuck waiting for me to finish 10 different stories. Two of those stories are currently under 2k words. The rest are averaging 5k words and they aren't finished yet. Since they are currently in 17 parts, if I could get these done, that'd be another 4 months of stories ready on top of the 15 expected Ted's Dolls stories.
Of course, I know I'll end up being distracted by the new shiny stories that pop into my head as well. I didn't include a few stories that I think are sitting on my story index page with the note: coming soon. Sigh. And this doesn't include stuff I want to get back to: Another I'm with the band part, a bizarre day story (languishing unloved for over 2 years now), The Truth, etc.
Comments
Honestly, I don't pay a lot of attention to the schedule. I get email from Patreon when you update, and look at it then. If shiny stories spark joy, go with the shiny stories.
