TALK - Welcome All and Ted's Dolls Season 4 Wrap Party
Added 2025-02-03 05:00:11 +0000 UTCI've had a little turn over so I want to formally welcome any new patrons the fold. Welcome. I'll also use the forum to talk a bit about Ted's Dolls Season 4 ending. Not sure it'll be a party but something has to go in the title.
Ted's Dolls
That was a wild ride I hope. I promise Season 5 will be more fun. Given that the only unadulterated fun this season was Murat's dating problem and the introduction of Vivian, it shouldn't be hard to be more fun in Season 5. :) I'll probably also look to wrapping up the Ted's Doll series with Season 5. But, I said the same thing about Season 4, I think. It has strayed a bit from being an anthology of doll stories. And the idea of a Cat's Dolls or Libby's Dolls series to follow shouldn't be forgotten.
Ted's Dolls is 179700 words with the release of Interlude 8 a couple days ago. It is three times the size of Hard To Look At or It Suits Me. I really need to get these stories into e-book format and sell them on Amazon or something.
Renders
I'm actually working on an AVN. The story isn't the one I was thinking of making last May when I broached the AVN idea. The current idea (and hopefully the one that sticks) is an homage to Fantasy Island called Djinni Island. In order to have broad appeal, I won't be able to play up the inanimate transformation or TG transformation niches that I usually work within. But there will be things there. The sidekick of the enigmatic guy in charge of the island has a golden tattoo and will be seen in the restaurant as a golden statue sometimes. I'm also thinking about putting a djinni servant in the cabins. There are no phones on the island. No cell service at all. But, rub the lamp and make very limited wishes, such as making a dinner reservation, are handled by the in-room djinni. Or something like that.
And I might get more adventurous if my level of gumption is high enough as I get closer to doing final renders. Such as, here we see the MC just off the plane finding out the staff is a bit stiff.

Wooden, even.
I doubt I'll go this extreme in the game. But, something like this is feasible, done a bit more sparingly. (Why is he dressed like that? He's supposed to be a rich playboy. Dumb render.)
The problem is finding time to write and work on what amounts to a novel and a 12-part limited series comic book in my spare time.
Future Works
To that end, I'm trying to get as ahead of the curve as I can right now. Currently, the story queue here is pushing into mid-May. That's 15 stories composed of 52k words. The render queue is pushing into mid-April. That's over 50 renders turned into strips or panels. For reference, Climb Avery Mountain was composed of 10 renders.
A few of the upcoming stories have a couple renders attached to them. In fact, tomorrow a teaser drops for this Saturday's new story: Magic Shoppe - Sleep Aid. Going forward, I'm not sure how often I'll create renders for short stories and then tease them.
I'm hoping to get a six month buffer up so I can spend three months focused on the AVN. Don't know if that's really feasible. I have so many stories started. I'm sure folks would like to see The Truth continued. Or 5-Minute Girl. There are 15-20 stories that have over 60k of words already written. They're just waiting for me to add more to get them to the end. *sigh*
Well, I've rambled a bit. Hope you all enjoy what is to come. As always, comments are welcome.
