I think I've mentioned in the story that our mc is already beyond cultivation levels, though most of our powers are yet to be understood by mc, as mc will grow old you will have more powers at disposible, and somewhere around 70% of the story you'll have option to double your power. In the later story you are gonna encounter plenty of powerful cultivators but none will be capable of hurting the mc directly.
