I didn't love season 1 of The Last of Us like other people did, but I enjoyed it enough that I'm curious what season 2 has in store. Right outta the gate, they've added Cutie-I-Wouldn't-Mind-Seeing-On-Screen Kaitlyn Dever to keep me interested! But will it be enough to counter my disinterest in Joel & Ellie? Or maybe they've actually improved their story / relationship?? If not... hey, at least this season is shorter!

2025-05-19 23:06:39 +0000 UTCnot sure if you figured this out yet but dina/ellie were born POST zombie outbreak so they don't know what everything was like before! not sure about that guy jeffrey wright was torturing maybe bc he was apart of the cult group that they maybe don't know what pans are or maybe he assumed he was born after as well? the outbreak started in 2003 then ellie was born in 2010 i think and then season 1 takes place 20 years later in 2023 where joel meets ellie...then season 2 it's 5 years later in 2028 or 2029! (btw i think you just misspoke but in case you thought otherwise - joel died after the 5 year time jump! you mentioned in the track "joel died 5 years ago" but it's only been 3 months or so since he died)
