The fungette world-mon kept crashing the game and so got delayed. I also had to temporarily walk back some of the coming combat update. Speaking of which:

The coming STATUS EFFECTS and new combat moves for the combat system will be rolled out in three parts. While many of the planned status effects have a clear tie-in with specific TYPES, they aren't strictly tied to moves or monsters of the chosen type. (Yes I see SPARK is unreadable and there's a dead pixel under STUN). I'll be looking for some feed back as I roll out the new moves and attach them to monsters... But a more detailed explanation will come on Friday.
Is there anything you are looking forward too, or dreading? I'll tell you what Im dreading: Stun Locks. That's why when a monster is hit with PAR (paralyze) Or STN (stun) they gain the recovery status for three turns, so for two turns after being hit by such a status cannot have STUN or PARALYZE reapplied. There's also status effects like EXH (Exhaust), which lasts several turns and acts like a cooldown for powerful moves. You cannot use an EXHAUSTING move while your monster has the exhaust status effect after all! Then there's FERTILITY or INFEST which pairs well with stage effects that will come later like VINES or WEBS. But those kinds of set ups are really only going to be useful when you have opponents to use them on...
There's moves I'm looking forward to like the SPARK move [Lightening Rod], which deals some damage to both you and the enemy- but ENZ (energizes) your whole team for more energy recovery.
I'm open to feedback. Is there some cool concept you thought would work as a great addition for a turn based monster-catcher? Keep in mind this will be the first pass on the combat system, nothing too complicated yet. (The planned move [BATON PASS] is essentially my limit for the moment).
Finally: I haven't learned my lesson. That when I set a date, God takes it as a personal insult to his great plan and decides my fate needs some kind of dropkicking. Sorry about being SIX days slow. I will continue to set dates and fail to meet them.
