I feel sorry for the actresses having to play out that fucking awful cringe worthy scene over the women of science calendar idea. The joke was clearly meant to be Cam and Angela's suprise at Bone's response to this ludicrous idea. Which frankly just came off as embarrassing and completely nauseatingly absurd. It's the reaction they are half heartedly playing to. Which fails, and rightly begs the question. "Who wrote this!" Temperance has quite often been played as this hyper rational person believing in hard science. But whilst also on many an occasion, being a sexually confident woman. Most of the time making light out of the unexpected positions on things she might have at various times. The socially awkward, beautiful, and on occasion. The intentionally and unintentionally sexy nerd. To grossly over simplify it. But that's the general crux of the basis that leads to shit like this. It's been at the heart of some of the worst cringey moments we've had in the past. Where she has socially inappropriate interactions with male subordinates and other colleagues. Most of the time, being oblivious to her conduct. Sometimes it can be light and mildly amusing. This was beyond embarrassing for the lead actresses to have to put up with.
