Iโm happy and have been rooting for the both of them since season 1.

Shut up, I ain't crying. ๐ On the other hand, this has been a long time coming. Wayne and Grace have been in love since season 1. It was only the devised rules and the unwillingness for either one to leave the team, that has kept their future on hold. This clearly hasn't been planned out over multiple seasons, which is why it's all of a sudden. Again, on the flip side they have been together most days of their lives since the beginning if the show, and back together since last season. So logically, this barely an convenience rule change just fast tracked past the corner they had written themselves into. As this is a fictional bureau, they can change whatever hypothetical rules they like. Come on, let's face it, Wayne is the only real sensible choice for Grace. Best lock this shit down before she hooks up with another psycho. ๐คฃ Grace has been the only really underdeveloped character of the team imo. Throwing her character under the bus one too many times if you ask me. Wayne can often be the goofy half to a Kimble's straight man, in that double act. With the main ongoing focus being on Patrick and RJ, rushing these guys into marriage is definitely a not well thought out side story, in the grand scheme of things. But who cares, it made us both smile, so screw it. ๐
