Seeing Filip leave, always makes me cry. Because itβs the one thing his mother told him that stuck with him. Sometimes, walking away is the only choice anyone ever has. I think in that moment, he realized what his mother had felt all those years ago, and he chose to follow her footsteps. And seeing him call himself Filip Nagata πππ if they ever start the show back up, I hope Naomi and him get to have the relationship they deserved. Also, the Laconia story is meant for the future books, because, though this part of the story is done, the other books are in the future. So, that sets it up, IF the on screen adaptation gets made at some point. Itβs an open ending in a way. Iβm finally on book 3, so I canβt wait to see what happens with this part of the story, once I get there.
