That is Max, his niece. She said at dinner that her father was Ryans brother, the firefighter who died on 9/11. I personally dont think Ryan wants anything to do with the FBI or any law enforcement other than to use them to get to Joe. We know he is fine with killing for revenge and with the assload of guns we saw in his closet he is looking for revenge by any means.
