No 1st 52 ep was noval adaptation which were not translated at eng durning the anime so the peaple who Don't read the novals thought it was anime canon

The op has i guess 1 spoiler but its really not everyone else already knew it because we watched the boruto movie before the series. And even tho this is all fun to watch it is technically filler because the manga starts when they're genin kinda like naruto did. But because the anime ans manga started around the same time the anime did the academy stuff to give the manga room to pace out.
