the reason boruto is such a nice refresher is because deep inside, boruto only wants his dad's approval and naruto only wants to see his son succeed. Boruto resents his father a bit because he doesnt understand why he has to work so much and hasnt seen how powerful his father is. Naruto loves his son but doesnt know the best way to express his care because he has never had a real father in his life. later on in the series, they do grow on each other and thats why I love this series. Even though boruto starts out with hate in his heart for naruto, he slowly realizes why everyone else loves him so much. Great character developement.

If Hiashi spar Boruto he would beat the living shit out of him like he did to Hinata. By the way naruto and him interacted with each other, I guess you could have some update on the og series for much awesome reaction :)
