Sasuke was the only kid in the entire clan!!! Idk if I can take that but okay. But did the Genin (Izumi, I think) that liked Itachi what did she do. She was a Genin. They weren’t party to those meetings by the clan when planning the coup

When you say he doesn't value the human life you are 100% correct, Danzo values the people as a whole over the individual. He doesn't care about the individual person but rather the betterment of the group as a whole. A perfect example is when he stays below the leaf while pain is invading, He says himself there will be people who die and they are "unfortunate" sacrifices but that tsunade will save the majority with her healing.

Danzo is a piece of shit and shouldn't be liked but some of his stuff is understandable. He did truely have the betterment of the world/leaf in mind he just thought he should be the one to rule and he thought his methods were correct. Which is the irony, danzo actually does have some of the right ideas EX- he was the first to propose the allied shinobi forces. He just went about it the wrong way. I think a lot of people get blinded by hatred, man i hate his ass too to this day, however when you look at his character he was always doing what he thought was the greater good, some were way out of place, but some were nearly right on the mark, It's more so how he went about doing these things that was incorrect.

we don't see or hear of any other kids in the uchiha clan at the time. Itachi specifically says sasuke is spared because he was innocent. and the story makes it abundntly clear that everyone was in on the coup so they all needed to die even the elderly. you have to snuff out the resistance all at once no smoldering embers left to catch fire later on.

i definitely recommend doing the next 3 episodes together. it wouldnt really make sense imo to do 339 and 340 together.

Whether it was his assignment is unnecessary. I’m wondering everyone treats him like a hero when he did something so morally grey. Like no one opposes his decision? What kind of world is that? Everyone that knows thinks it’s okay to sacrifice the entire clan. It’s different if people are unhappy with the decision but ultimately they push on and say it saved the village but they accept it no issues. While I understand why he did it , I did it preposterous that there’s no counter to that logic in the story and it breaks immersion. I guess you could say Sasuke opposed it in a way

that wasnt his assignment. he was assigned to kill every single member of the uchiha clan, including sasuke. but in the moment he realised that he could not bring him self to kill his little brother which is why he had to resort to threaten the village elders not to hurt sasuke etc.

Now that I think about. Kabuto kinda like Haku. Well the overall theme of series is that shinobi exist to be tools so I shouldn’t be surprised

He killed kids and retired people. He could’ve left those ones and just killed the actual ninjas. Not the kids at least. Whether it’s a viable excuse doesn’t mean every single person should agree. What makes Sasuke different from the other kids. Shouldn’t they be given a chance but no their lives were cut short and nobody questions that and just says it was for the good of village so it’s okay. There could have been potential civil war, those kids could’ve been left alive and their hate would be directed at itachi not the village.

What I don’t like about the itachi thing is that how come nobody questions what he did. It was so morally grey that at least someone should question him but everyone that knows just accepts it
