Also, a lot of what these pirates do is based on pride. Gin has his pride as part of Kreig's crew, and a pirate himself, which is why he fights Sanji, but he can't overcome his feelings toward Sanji's kindness in feeding him.

2025-06-21 22:51:39 +0000 UTCLuffy is relating with Sanji, because Shanks saved Luffy's life as well. Sanji throwing away his life for the restaurant kinda triggered Luffy a bit, which is why he got mad at Sanji.
