My thoughts on Bug Bite lately
Added 2025-05-27 14:49:18 +0000 UTCI don't know if I can keep up with it, I fear this has been a very tasking and ambitious project that won't make me proud or happy at the end, I don't wanna give up but I don't feel like spending another 2-3 months on a chapter most people will just be stuck with the sex segments, "Rock Bottom" works perfectly for me because a page takes me like just hours to make and I have a clearer vision with it than Bug Bite.
Don't get me wrong, I built this community myself so people came here for the fetishy art and that's what I intent to do, but Bug Bite demands too much if I do it the way I want, takes too long, and I don't get the criticism for my writing so I never know when I'm fucking up or doing something good, I wanna make good stories, but I'm afraid Bug Bite might never reach a conclusion because I lack the energy and time to keep up.
After I'm done with Chapter 05, I'll take a hiatus from Bug Bite, mainly to understand what to do with it, either finish it in another way (a romhack of a pkmn game or something) or straight up giving up for my mental sake.
Rock Bottom showed me that I can pull a "short" story in my way, is it good? idk, has porn so people like it anyway... is nothing deep really, if you get people to care, that means it's good, right? Thing is, I feel that I can pull more mini stories like this.

2025-05-31 18:49:15 +0000 UTCDon't force yourself to make stuff you're not going to enjoy. I love Bug Bite, but your other stuff is great too. If Bug Bite is going on a possible indefinite hiatus, it would be cool to see the 'breeding marks' in smaller pieces.

That does'nt mean that we don't care or don't appreciate your art and efforts. I really like BB, but what surpised me the most about it, was how fast you made it, to the point that it had me worried at first that you didn't like it and just wanted to finish it as soon as possible. Maybe you're working too much and too fast on it for you to fully appreciate it? I don't know, but none of us want you to feel bad about your own work, or worse. There are WAY too much artists who ended up with a burn out and a disgust for what they were doing because they forced themselves to work. Take rests, make the changes you think are necessary for your workflow and your health, but most of all take care of yourself. It's only when it's too late that we realize we shouldn't have pushed too far. And remember, we can wait, because we care about your art AND you!

2025-05-28 08:49:46 +0000 UTCThe Story Telling of Bug Bite is really good, you have an interesting idea with the story, the unique parts of the world-building you've added, and so far each character introduced has been interesting in a more mysterious way. I still fully understand your perspective on it being taxing since there isn't much feedback on it or doesn't feel significant interaction and for that reason I would recommend a hiatus or a slower working pace with it. Make sure to take care of yourself, I will support you regardless of the choice you make.

2025-05-28 02:26:44 +0000 UTCThis might sound cheesy, but to me your art is so destinctive to you, anytime i see a small frame of your art i know it’s from you immediately, and if it isn’t obvious a lot of people would be fine with you taking a break in general, especially if it’s your mental health thats at risk. ❤️❤️
