The Drydock - Episode 353

00:00:00 - Intro

00:00:36 - Would you argue that every post-1935 class of battleship is a heavily armored derivation of the battlecruiser as accomplished much earlier by Hood?

00:07:13 - Should Arizona have been at Bremerton on Dec 7th?

00:10:06 - Ideal emergency R class refit?

00:15:19 - County class armour scheme?

00:19:31 - How/where did Sweden get the oil for the navy in WWII?

00:20:35 - What compromises did the Swedes make with their destroyers?

00:22:51 - Who had the better torpedos in the Russo-Japanese War?

00:27:29 - Why did some nations used dual sizes of torpedoes on submarines?

00:31:09 - What do you think of the Anaxes War College System from Star Wars?

00:36:30 - When confronted with the problem of the Type 93 torpedo being too big for their submarine designs to use, why did the IJN develop smaller Long Lances instead of bigger submarines? They were far from averse to giant submarines as it was...

00:41:46 - Track/deck markings on HMS Warrior?

00:45:25 - What are some of the worst refits done, that would have been better served by a realistic alternative?

00:51:34 - Have you ever considered producing a basic series of naval style "how and why" videos?

00:56:22 - What are some historical equivalents of “Aircraft Carriers are obsolete”?

01:03:42 - In World War II there was a huge increase in ship building. Can you remind us how they initiated that and were successful?

01:09:10 - What can you tell us about the Battle between HMS Raglan and Goeben?

Re the "ww2 navies by year" concept- It would be interesting and I'd certainly watch it, but it's honestly not the sort of thing I would prefer you to spend your precious time on. There is already a lot of shallow-summary content on the Tubes, and your channel is notable for _not_ being that. On the other hand, the algorithm might love it, and it might drive some new subscribers, and anything that puts more money in your pocket is good for the channel's health and thus makes me happy.

How-to videos. Yes please. All the things you mentioned. Plus, how to sail a 74-120. Navigation, & why its so difficult (wrecks are rarely where everyone thinks they are.)

I'm not a fan of longer format videos. Ignore the fact I've watched all of the Drydocks.
