Modern armor can be defeated by modern weapons. Even in WW2, air-launched PGMs were lethal to battlships, e.g. Fritz X going through HMS Warspite in 1943. Today a 30 mm hypersonic BASS round would go through Yamato, side to side.

In the Gun turret in Manila question, the "x" in "Roxas Blvd." is pronounced with an "h", and the "g" in "Corregidor" is, oddly enough, also pronounced with an "h." Yes, our language is lovely and inconsistent in that way. (If ever you would like help with Filipino pronunciations in the future, let me know.)

Another problem automatic stocking of boilers on ships: the technology wasn't introduced on steam locomotives until 1905, pretty much when oil firing was being adopted.
