HNSA Wrap Party!

So, we've got Ryan of USS New Jersey, Jack from USNI Press and of course me, should we do a collab next time we meet and what should we talk about? šŸ˜€

HNSA Wrap Party!

Well, in honor of visit to America, how about a deep dive into US British relationships, as it pertained to naval considerations beginning in 1940 and how they evolved over the course of WW2.

Rodney McCoy

Of you should. Pick a subject, torpedoes US & Japanese, but I think both you and Ryan should visit Japan and tour what they have over there for you both to get I to and produce oodles of videos from. Separate go fund me accounts from the normal ones.

frank bodenschatz

How do you think the pacific war, and WW2 in general, would have been different if the USN Mark 14 torpedoes were 90% effective at the beginning of the war, instead of the other way around?

George Robertson

A collab on the development and evaluation of battle reports and if possible also the development of actions taken in context of their evaluation would be really nice, alone for the USN during ww2

Reichsbierminister

A collab? Most certainly. Subject? The importance of small ships right the way back when

Rob Smith

Its too early right now for me to think of anything, but I'm all for whatever you guys want to talk about, it will be good I'm sure.

Jeff s holloway

Maybe you all can collaborate when the USS NJ is in dry dock and we can see how the dry dock is going, surprises and setbacks.

Nathaniel Wright

Has a warship ever been lost to enemy action because the crew was drunk?

Brian Reddeman

I would like to hear a round-table (maybe around a few pints?) discussion from the three of you about the future of museum ships and what can be done to better preserve and promote these historic vessels for future generations.

RebelSqurl

I’d be interested in a discussion from your different perspectives on the future of naval history. How do we (as fans of naval history) encourage its continued study and insure that it does not go the way of the pre-dreadnaught?

Scott

Honestly I would vote for anything on the interwar timeframe.

Jim Smitty

If your adversary uses 1000 fishing vessels to fish everything out of your Exclusive Economic Zone, what the heck can your navy do about it?

Roundtable on Navy Provisions. Namely you bring your favorite historical dishes and how to make and consume. Includes taste testing. Fun and light hearted. Better than a hard tack eating contest, the one who has teeth remaining is the winner.

Camino John

Livestream Battle of Midway Drinking game! In seriousness, I'd be interested to hear a collaboration between you guys about ships that should not have been built during the Treaty Era, and what could have been done to improve them.

Ferrous

Roundtable: Why was the Bismarck the greatest bestest swellest ship ever.

Leon Wu

What I just wrote violated the 1950 rule. How about a discussion of instances prior to 1950 when merchant and naval fleets were allowed to run down and sufficient infrusture didn't exist with which to built and maintain naval and merchant fleets.

john c driscoll

Roundtable discussion of "battlecarriers" from HMS Furious to the USS New Jersey Harrier conversion. Throw in the Soviet "Heavy Aircraft Carrying Cruiser" for how some rules lawyering got made manifest.

Will Sanders

How did you not have a collab this time?!

Direwolf1618

You Darn skippy!

Vintage Car History

Maritime education for the initiated (i.e. the importance of the merchant marine and naval forces as well as maintaining infrastructure needed to build and maintain ships).
