All meetups aboard ships will take place at c.1400 on the aft fantail if the weather is decent, inside if not.

Any donations you wish to make to the ships in question will of course be gratefully received by them.

Please be aware extreme weather may cause things to change at the last minute. I will be updating Discord, Twitter and here if this occurs.

Looking forward to (hopefully) seeing you again, Drach. Let's hope you're not flying Lufthansa this time. ;-)

Here are a few recommendations for places to eat in the Boston area: 1. Granite Links clubhouse - the golf course's clubhouse sits at the top of Quincy's filled-in granite quarries with incredible views of Boston's skyline when the weather's clear. 2. Legal Seafood in South Boston's Waterfront. It's the jewel in the restaurant chain with large window views looking out onto Boston Harbor. In the warmer weather, there's even a rooftop bar. 3. Pretty much anywhere in the North End is good for Italian food. It's hard to go wrong there.

I will try to take off some time from work for the USS Salem meet up. The winter has been very mild here so far, so I'm crossing my fingers it stays that way at least through your visit. We had a snow squall here today. I spun by the Salem this afternoon - it looked like she was in a snow globe.

When I went to the Battleship Cove ticket site, they said they were closed Feb 6. They say they are only open Fridays through Sundays. Would that be an email to their contact page to inquire with them about special admission? Not sure if I can make it, being a work day and all, but I'm relatively close enough to have the possibility.

Dangit, when you're within driving distance I am at a medieval camping and melee event.

I believe so

I love the final point in your conference description. Shall not be attending, owing to the tyranny of distance. Will your presentation/Q&A session be videoed or recorded?

Another great trip, will be trying to meet up in fall river.
