A suggestion for an episode - the RN's "Black Beetle" X lighters - probably the world's first purpose designed landing craft - built for Gallipoli. Some survived to be used as service craft in WW2. Hey, throw in their descendants, the RIN's WW2 Z lighters as well

How easy (or difficult) was it to convert a coal to oil burner. This was done successfully with steam locomotives and I can see smaller navies wishing to extend the life of their ships. Obviously, you need to make some changes inside the boiler, but can the coal bunkers be converted to fuel tanks (I realize above water "peace tanks" were not liked, but then you drain them at the beginning of a cruise and pipe stack gas to take the place of air as you use fuel). What about the loss of protection from coal? Would you add armor plating?

The "Well There's Your Problem" podcast did an episode on the Halifax explosion. They definitely editorialize far more than Drach, but they are pretty thorough.
