Finally, one of the short stories I mentioned before touches on the history between Koichi Saegusa (Mayumi's father) and the Yotsubas. I don't know if the anime will include that material at some point, so for now I will only say there is a personal link between Koichi and Maya.

2024-04-12 17:43:43 +0000 UTCThird, the written materials have long since made something clear that the anime has kind of ignored so far... the main difference between the 1st Course and 2nd Course in the school is the presence of teachers. Both groups are taught the same "lecture" materials through electronic lessons at the terminals in the classrooms; however, only Course 1 students receive personal training from an actual teacher in addition to that. That was why, back in Season 1, the students in Tatsuya's class were surprised to see Ms. Ohno enter their classroom (Ep1 or 2).

2024-04-12 17:41:33 +0000 UTCSecond, I don't know if they will go back and add a flashback of some kind, but Tatsuya had previously met the white-haired boy that was in the middle of the argument at the Robot Research Club. That meeting is a minor thing, but it ties to something else (and given that the boy appears in the opening, I expect they will make more of it during the season).
