The Escape Artist/ Side Projects & Things For Next Month

Loosely based off of professional escape artist, Dayle Krall, I've been tinkering with the idea of my next OC being one. Other images include things to come for next month as well as a new OC I've been working on that will be more of a conduit to practice short comics.

We have Roze (CoD), Eirin Yagokoro (Touhou Project), Madeline (SpicyTaco's OC), and my latest OC, a "Modern Day Necromancer" a.k.a. Emdienne

A necromancer in a modern setting. Em is a warm, if not a little awkward and solitary soul. Though projecting a seemingly independent and content bravado, she is very lonely and starved for friendship. She stands at a gaunt 5'9 frame with blackened sclera, which doesn't help her cause, at a quick glance resembling a Halloween decoration when in fitted clothes.

Looks aside, Em's selfish and narcissistic core along with her infuriating lack of accountability and self-awareness make themselves present within a short period of scratching at her surface. Though not malicious in anyway, these poor qualities greatly contribute to her solitude. Em's poor work ethic and sense of entitlement stems from the "safety net" she claims to have from her Mother.

Her "Mother" who will always support her no matter what she gets herself into... as long as a flesh sacrifice is made. Her "Mother" who is actually an unknowable deity to her linage of Necromancy. Em approaches meeting new people with the potential of friendship, with an odd enthusiasm until it inevitably goes wrong.

Em's mantra that she defaults to; "If I can't make friends. I'll MAKE friends."
