Thanks again for another great episode. Question: further to your remarks on Froude, could you please enlighten us on the key factors influencing a ship’s stability. Sounds like there is more to it than the ‘obvious’ issues of displacement, net buoyancy, ballast and (low) centre of gravity. What about hull shape, for example?
