The Drydock - Episode 055

Leyte Gulf would be the most marketable cause ya know...Americans. But the most amazing would be a Jutland movie. Sir Ben Kingsley was working on one and he was going to play Jellicoe, but it’s been awhile since I’ve heard any updates on that.

FEEDBACK: You asked for feedback on the "format" of the Drydocks. 1) References can be listed rather than "spoken" - as a secondary point to this you could create a listing and add to this as you create other videos and refer by number. 2) If you have people who support you then paying more attention to their requests seems to make more sense. After all you pay more attention to your employer for the very good reason they pay your bills. 3) I am happy for you to limit your time and if the Q&A builds up then so be it. 4) Remove most of the one-v-one battle type questions, the format you used for a special was good and it tended to wrap a lot of those questions together - after all 50% of the questions are xxxx vs Bismarck 5) Consider giving simpler answers to some of the more obscure questions and have a voting system to promote one or two of these for more detailed explanations - it would at least remove 10 questions for every one voted for more detail (finger in the air estimate). 6) As a personal level I would love to see video specials on things such as Guadalcanal battles, such as the one done on the Bismarck (know any Japanese Hystericalgraphers?) /endramblingmode :)

so long as they keep the flashing light glare and lens flares out of it, so we can see the movie, instead of it being a seizure-inducing disco-light audiobook on the big screen. B)

Or...Midway, THE significant battle of the Pacific War? As a Brit, I wait to be corrected! Lol.

Completely random thought watching the episode. We really need Hollywood to make a major film modelling a sea battle with the best of CGI. Perhaps made by Industrial Light and Magic. A 2.5 hour epic on Leyte Gulf would be great.
