I was going through old Drydock episodes to see if there was anything I'd missed, and came across the final question of this episode. And I realized that there's one major problem with your Greek heavy cruiser: it's illegal. One of the clauses of the Washington Naval Treaty is "No vessel of war constructed within the jurisdiction of any of the Contracting Powers for a non-Contracting Power shall exceed the limitations as to displacement and armament prescribed by the present Treaty for vessels of a similar type which may be constructed by or for any of the Contracting Powers".
So you've got only three options. Either have the cruiser built much smaller to be within Treaty specifications, have a non-Treaty nation build the hull (a poor option since are any of them actually capable of building a decent hull of this size?) or make it a Treaty-compliant small battlecruiser. That last option could perhaps involve stripping the 12" twin turrets off the pretty useless pre-dreadnoughts Kilkis and Lemnos, and using them as the main armament for the small battlecruiser.
Wait, I forgot that there's a third option. Have Italy build the hull. They're no strangers to just blatantly lying about displacement to cheat on the Treaty limits, after all. :P

Drach, This is an opportunity to understand Americans. Go have a cold Budweiser. For the first time in your life, you will understand why American beer is the way that it is--as you will be drinking it at temperatures that are more common in America. English beer is way better than American beer. But, now that you can experience what Saint Louis is like in July, you will understand why American beer is the way it is--a cold Budweiser on a hot summer day is basically its only purpose . . .

Drydock question: did the HMS Saumarez have the same commander in the battle against the Scharnhorst and in the battle against the Haguro?

Kevin - we still need you to track Drachisms. I'll down a pint in your honour to muck it out!

if I may suggest, if it's not already a shirt, "sand-going torpedo boats", I'm sure someone around here can make a few great graphics for that one, from the second pacific Squadron. I thought that was also another great one. Great Q&A Drach. B)

it's all good, just blame it on YT not wanting to work on such a horribly sweltering day, lol.
