Apartment Hunting!

Personal update/Little notice to say at the start of August, Lemons and I will be traveling over to SC to tour some apartments together (and also celebrate his, and our friend ToriWolf's birthday a bit 🥳 )

Both of us are feeling pretty good that we can find something quick, and I think if the ideal situation works out, might even be moving by September. Who knows, but there are a lot of decent options to look at for sure. If the moving process actually starts I'll be sure to give more updates, but for now just know that the next month or two could be VERY busy and slow for me. I really appreciate the patience for my work at this time <3

At minimum, I'll be away from work August 1st-10th. Etsy will also be closed during this time!

This month also has been a bit of a struggle for me. It's kind of the same reasons I haven't felt like streaming a lot. I've been processing some hard past emotions, and feeling some personal doubts about myself, and in turn my art. And really wanting to take the time to experiment and find new things I enjoy about it, but struggling to do that when I owe work. Plus it's been... oddly fast for me compared to earlier this year. Just feeling a bit stale with my sketches especially, but I've also taken some liberty to try things with the Bonsai rewards so that is helping!

I apologize to those who have been waiting so patiently for updates from me, and please ALWAYS know it is okay to ask! Transparency on my queue is always my priority, so I'm happy to answer a message about the status of your piece at any time, even if I don't yet have progress to share. I know recently things take time from me, but I will NEVER ever forget about my clients even if you hear radio silence for a bit.

In an ideal scenario, I'll be settled in a new place with Lemons by the fall, or at least by the end of the year, and both of us feel that will alleviate a lot of the stress that comes from balancing a long distance relationship. I'm really excited for what the future holds by that point, and being able to feel less like I'm stuck in a limbo at my parent's house, and more free to really be myself and find a good rhythm for work again.
