It would be interesting to know what the power limit on her vampire/demon/possessed form is (what tier it is) but it would also be a good reveal later on during a pivitol fight. This "casual" use of it here does good groundwork for expanding on the of the most foreshadowed elements of the setting, so it won't feel like Deus Ex Machina when she pulls it out later. Edit: Fuck, I missed a chapter.
