2026-02-10 16:00:41 +0000 UTCShe gave the flash to Shiro because Garrick knew she had it. It was generally safer for Shiro to have it since he wouldn’t know they handed it over. If he attacked to grab it, Shiro would be able to get away with it if the worse case scenario happened. The guarding the wire wasn’t staying up there to watch it while they did stuff down there. It was guarding it to ensure the AI didn’t cut the wire while they were on it going down. Shiro would be fine with the Drop Chutes, but the other two wouldn’t after plummeting down the shaft. Also, Shiro is already involved down there. She’s got the pyramid to let Luna in so she can hack the facility—or that’s their plan at the moment.

I could just say she swaps impacts and stuff, but that’s how I’ve kept it separated. She has Concussive Connoisseur too, which helps in the aim and placement of explosives.

2026-02-10 01:41:39 +0000 UTCI am guessing Shiro is going to transition from her current role in the crusade, to a contractor they can ask for help and a contact for night shade, alongside being a supplier for them. She simply can't work for them full time while doing what she cares about more.

2026-02-10 01:26:37 +0000 UTC"I stuck around for a couple minutes just to make sure nothing would happen and then took the descender down the shaft." -> this is...pretty much the opposite of "staying up there to guard the wire". She assumes that since nothing happens in two minutes, nothing WILL happen? Now that its unguarded a broken robot will come dump a barrel of acid down the pipe, problem solved. She didnt even wait that long if the other two are still cutting wires in the broken robot, that doesnt seem like it'd take long. Doesnt this also defeat the purpose of giving Shiro the flash drive? I thought the point was that if Garrick betrayed Hope down there, Shiro could escape. But Shiro just went down the hole too. Seems like light "main character tunnel vision" on your part, Shiro NEEDS to be involved in whats happening, guarding the escape route is too boring for the audience. The two senior members should be upset with her for abandoning her post, too.
