I like that Aylin is uncomfortable with the advances. It mirrors both the reader’s and apparently your emotions, which makes for a particularly good scene. Personally, I think platonic cuddling (or even maternal cuddling) would have been the best solution, although Aylin isn’t that type of person. Cupping someone’s face and giving them a tender forehead kiss does wonders for making them feel safe, too. Still, this way is good.

Quite like how Aylin dealt with it actually… ….and also Aeliel’s niece is 100% a very intelligent being, nobody seems to understand the power of friendship in this world. Except Aylin. The smartest.
