Samsa, The Black Prince

Samsa is a black ant prince that hails from the Obsidian City located in The War Lands. The War Lands are a charred waste inhabited by brutal warrior tribes of ants that constantly war with each other over territory and resources. The ants of the Obsidian City however wished for more, they dug deep into the earth seeking greater power and they found The Abyss. In its dark depths they found incredible power that allowed them to secure their territory in The War Lands. Yet this power came at a terrible price and their queen was forced to sacrifice herself to seal away The Abyss before it could spread beyond the Obsidian City. Now she sleeps eternal deep below the city leaving her people leaderless and at the mercy of the War Lands. 

Samsa is a prince who has journeyed from his home land on an adventure to find a way to save his mother while his siblings, including is sister who is next in line to be queen, continue to protect the kingdom from the other tribes of the War Lands. Samsa himself carries a noble air about him often seeming to dainty and coming off as naïve, but this does not make him any less of a warrior. As an ant he is born with incredible strength and is capable of lifting 4x his own weight, he has also practiced with the best of his peoples soldier ants to master the nail spear. He is singularly driven in his goal to free his mother from her Abyssal prison as well as better understanding the dark powers his people now harness. 

Samsa's signature weapon is an Abyssal Nail Spear, a weapon unique to the Obsidian City that allows its wielder to accumulate and harness abyssal energy. This allows him to use a Sharp Shadow Dash and to summon hovering dark spears to further harry enemies.
