File number: 13463-0097 ----------------------------------------------------------------- OBJECT DESIGNATION: BMCB-001: A Southern Railway overpass spanning Colchester Road near Clifton, Virginia colloquially known as “Bunny Man Bridge”. Location is monitored at all times by trail cam surveillance and security cameras installed and hidden around the area. H.E.R.O. units are deployed in case of BMC-002 manifestation, and area is monitored at all times, with notes taken for any and all strange activity. Location is not deemed to be restricted, and civilian passage through the location is allowed, though restricted by police activity with assistance from local officers. Area may face more restrictions during times of increased spiritual activity such as during celestial events such as Samhain or any similar fluctuation of natural world leylines. SUBJECT DESIGNATION: BMCB-002: A single (1) entity Held by a joint effort between the H.E.R.O. and M.A.I.D. divisions at Mysterious Area Investigation Division location Two (2) with emergency protocols in place in case of containment breach. Emergency protocols entail rapid deployment of one (1) Squadron of Hostile Entity Removal Operations (H.E.R.O.) agents stationed at M.A.I.D. Black Site One (1). This team must include no less than one (1) Centurion Class Nimrod Specialist, and one (1) Centurion Class Vanir Specialist. All members of the squadron are to have completed courses in Basic First Era Titania contact regulations, though threat is deemed to be low in that regard, and they must have cleared at least their first specialist course in Hexenhammer operations. All subjects are equipped with Iron tipped bullets along with Iron ball bearing fragmentation grenades and finally an iron combat knife. The Vanir is to be equipped with basic Esper band frequency inducers and are provided with field authorized cerebral accelerants should the necessity arise. ----------------------------------------------------------------- CLASSIFICATION AND THREAT LEVEL: Subject is a Secutor Class with types including Night Owl, Hooker, Norwegian Blue, Boogeyman, Jinx, Odyssey, and McGuyver. OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND ABILITY: A Southern Railway overpass spanning Colchester Road near Clifton, Virginia colloquially known as “Bunny Man Bridge”. Colchester Overpass was built in 1906 near Sangster’s Station. The Station was a Civil War era railroad station which belonged to the Orange and Alexandria Railroad which was incorporated into the Norfolk Southern rail system in 1867. Colchester Overpass, despite being a relatively small tunnel, seems to harbor occasional anomalous properties involving the appearance of supernatural entities and the potential disappearance of several individuals since 1917 and possibly earlier. During an event in 1917 (Explained in more detail in the containment section below), it is believed that a potential ritual took place involving one or more arcane spellcasters, specifically a witch, which allowed for the bridge to become a gateway to another world. The bodies of missing persons who had disappeared near or beneath the overpass have been found in strange locations, sometimes up to hundreds of miles away from the bridge. Reports of those passing beneath the bridge and the transit taking several minutes have been reported as well, an event which is a physical impossibility due to the miniscule size of the overpass itself. The most famous manifestation from beneath the bridge seems to be that of a large, humanoid individual dressed as a rabbit that has mysteriously appeared and murdered several individuals since 1917. Field tests have shown inconsistent results, though anomalous properties tend to present themselves during times of dimensional fluctuation, typically from August to November, and more often than not from midnight to Sunrise. Minor unique properties have been reported over the decades, such as an inordinate number of Amanita Muscaria growing along the foundation of the structure, despite not being a mushroom indigenous to the location, and the occasional report of “Black eyed Children” and “Shadow People” in nearby areas as well. Through all of the tests performed by members of M.A.I.D. since 1976, three (3) members have been lost beneath the bridge and have never been recovered. ----------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT DESCRIPTION AND ABILITY: The subject is a large figure, standing at six feet nine inches (6’9”) without the inclusion of it’s ears which increase it’s height to eight feet one inch (8’1”) in total. Subject resembles a humanoid wearing a white bunny mascot costume similar to those worn by local shopping mall “Easter Bunnies” for special events. Subject’s costume is covered in white faux fur, and includes a pair of pants sewn to the legs of the outfit, as well as fake suspenders holding said pants up. The feet resemble that of a rabbit as well, though they possess hardened soles for easier mobility, and the costume comes complete with white gloves. The Rabbit possesses a large cotton tail, as well as a yellow bow tie. A large zipper can be seen on the back of the costume, and it seems that the head is a separate helmet that can be worn separate from the full body rabbit suit. The costume seems to be made of a blend of acrylic and polyester fibers. The outfit is stained with dried blood which seems to have soaked into the fabric for a very long time. Within the eyes and mouth of the rabbit mask there is a thin, black mesh, that allows the wearer to see, but obscures who they are beneath. The entity within the object appears to be the skinned and emaciated body of a humanoid. It is believed to be that of a human, however the number of teeth (Roughly 82), and wide-set nature of the eyes has led scientists to believe that the creature may be a mutated form of human, or potentially a genetic offshoot more closely related to a ghoul, or a fae as it does match many other Fae qualities, including a seeming weakness to iron. The subject is highly durable, capable of sustaining physical damage from high caliber ordinance, including but not limited to, Automatic Shotgun fire, concentrated fire from multiple sources utilizing the AR-15, Anti-material tank rifle fire, C-4 plastic explosives at close range, and direct impact from multiple shots fired from M202 Flash incendiary rocket launcher. The Bunnyman is highly capable as an opponent, and is able to brute force it’s way through standard issue helmets and armor in a single swing, having bisected at least one soldier from shoulder to genitals with a blunt force object. As such nearly all of the Bunnyman’s attacks are likely to break bones or at least cause high levels of bruising and often times internal bleeding. Maintaining visual on the Bunnyman is necessary as it possesses the capability to quickly maneuver itself and vanish when not being observed, however this capability seems to be limited to short distance teleportation. It’s swift and silent footsteps however allow for this to be incredibly lethal if it is able to utilize this maneuver and catch an enemy off guard. Iron weaponry is able to provide additional damaging effect to the creature, proving a connection between it and other Fae subjects, though the origin is not truly known at this time. ----------------------------------------------------------------- CONTAINMENT: The bridge itself cannot be contained, and the Bunnyman has yet to be properly slain if it is in fact the same entity each time that it appears, as it is unknown if it could be several identical entities rather than a singular creature. Several reports have been filed pertaining to the entity known as the Bunnyman in various locations throughout the United States within the last 100 years. Sightings of similar Bunnyman entities are believed to be of a similar species or affliction, and information pertaining to these cases can be viewed with Centurion clearance within The greater United States, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin islands, as well as Western Canada, Mexico, Recognized countries within the P.R.I.M.E. African Alliance, Australia, and Japan. Clearance for sightings in other countries require identical clearance as well as written approval from members of said foreign powers pending request unless otherwise stated. The first report of the Bunnyman comes from the Colchester Southern Railway Bridge located near Clifton Virginia in 1904, in which local urban legends tell that the nearby Clifton area harbored an Insane Asylum deep within the wilderness that was said to be the home of many violent and deranged psychopaths being treated and corrected far away from civilized society. This information has been confirmed, as ruins of the Niles Blackwater Asylum for the criminally insane remain as a P.R.I.M.E. Black site protected by stationed soldiers of M.A.I.D. due to anomalous activities reported from around the greater Virginia area, and has been monitored and contained alongside the Colchester Bridge since 1976. The legend states that due to increased migration and expansion of nearby towns, residents were moving closer and closer to the previously secluded facility and the small settlement around it, and that it’s mayor had issued a formal request for the current Administrator of the Asylum to migrate it’s people to a new facility further out. In 1917, a new location was decided upon, and fifteen (15) transport vehicles were utilized to transfer the One hundred and fifty (150) inmates to their new location at Lorton Reformatory. NOTE: Many retellings of this story found across the internet claim that this event took place anywhere from 1900 to 1905, however the Lorton Reformatory did not even exist until 1910. Though it is publically reported that the Lorton Reformatory did not harbor violent offending criminals until the walled location was built in 1930, this was information suppressed by the public as many of the violent inmates brought from other locations were utilized in the construction of the larger facility during this time. Much of this information stemmed from documents within the Clifton Library, the entirety of which was demolished and information pertaining to it redacted and replaced with the earlier 1900’s stories as part of the misinformation campaign to cover the anomalous locations and entities within the town of Clifton in 1978. During this time, it is reported that during transport, an event that should have taken anywhere from seventeen to twenty two (17 to 22) minutes, only fourteen (14) of the fifteen (15) transports arrived to the location, with the final transport having not arrived. Upon investigation, it was found that one of the vehicles had suffered a collision, having run off of the road and down a hillside into the dark wilderness. Only eight (8) of the ten (10) inmates were accounted for, with five (5) of them having been killed by the impact along with the Driver and the two (2) guards. One (1) of the surviving inmates [REDACTED AGE 28] was in critical condition when discovered, One (1) [Walter Sumpter AGE 34] was non-verbal and unable to aid in the investigation, and one (1) [Marcus [REDACTED] AGE 40] was aiding in the recovery of the other survivors. When questioned, he had claimed that Inmates Marcus A Wallster AGE 38, and Douglas J. Grifon [AGE 29] had also survived, but escaped into the woods after the event. When questioned why the vehicle had crashed, it was reported that a woman had appeared suddenly in front of the vehicle, forcing it to swerve to avoid striking her, and it went off of the side of the road and crashed down. It had already been behind the other vehicles a bit due to needing to change a flat tire, and as such there were no vehicles from the convoy for at least eight (8) minutes. Though these members were collected and properly transported, police were called upon to search for the missing inmates and the mysterious woman whom had appeared on the road before them. NOTE: While the woman has never been found, it is believed that she could have potentially been Sabrina Pollock [AGE 19], a member of the silent sentinels who had gone missing from the Lorton correctional facility in November of 1917. From June to November during 1917, Members of the Suffragist movement belonging to a faction known as the Silent Sentinels picketed at the White House as well as at various locations such as the Occoquan Workhouse at the Lorton facility. As many as One Hundred Sixty Eight (168) women were arrested and held within the facility where they were force fed during hunger strikes and kept in unsafe, diseased, and worm riddled conditions. They were tortured, beaten and abused during the “Night of Terror” on November 14. Sabrina Pollock was never accounted for after the events. Sabrina Pollock was described by guards at the workhouse to be “A witch” and they claimed that she would turn people against one another and strike out at the guards with an impossible strength,, also seemingly haunting their dreams for the months she was there. Some reports claim that she had gone missing earlier in the day, and it is believed that she may have hid beneath one of the transport busses, and dropped into the road from the vehicle when she could no longer hold on. These events are only speculation, however as women with a similar appearance to Pollock have been described by residents throughout the years meandering through the woodlands, or even appearing near, or on, Colchester Bridge. Though police were unable to find Douglas J. Grifon, after hours of searching the found the body of Marcus A. Wallster, skinned and hanging from the Colchester Bridge like a rabbit that had it’s hide removed along with the sentence “You’ll never find me, and you know it too- The Bunnyman” written in blood on the side of the bridge along with several occult symbols. The second incident report came in 1918 during the summer, when a teenage girl (Olivia Perish, AGE 16) pounded on the door of the local church in a state of extreme distress, claiming that her four (4) Friends whom she had been spending he evening with, had been killed by a “Man in a rabbit costume” by the Colchester Overpass. She explained that she had been participating in “Sinful activity” with her friends, and was being punished for it, having run to the church to find aid and salvation. A party was sent to the bridge, where they found the skinned and displayed bodies of [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and [Gerald Meyer AGE 17]. The fourth missing person Arthur Marlon AGE 16, was not discovered among them, and was never found, and for a time was accused of being the bunny man himself despite the refute from Olivia Perish over the years. The third incident took place in 1927, in which Three young boys, thought to be orphans from a nearby orphanage, were found skinned and killed in the same way as the others. These individuals were never identified, however their deaths were identical to those found in the prior event. The fourth incident took place in 1949, in which a young man and woman were found dead in their vehicle, parked next to the Colchester Overpass. The man was identified as Marshall West (AGE 28) and the woman as Jessica Miller (AGE 19). West is believed to have been cheating on his wife with Miss Miller, and it was believed by neighbors that they had been meeting up in West’s vehicle for secretive sexual encounters. Their Vehicle was discovered by a traveler passing through two days following their last sighting, and he claimed that the car door had been removed from it’s hinges, and that the windows were broken and covered in blood and human flesh. Both individuals were strung up from the bridge and skinned as previous corpses had been left, and white synthetic fur was collected by the Clifton police force and saved as evidence at that time as well. The fifth incident took place in 1970, on the 19th of October, in which U.S. Air Force Academy Cadet Robert Bennet and his fiancée were visiting relatives on Guinea Road in Burke. After returning from a football game, around Monday they parked in a field and allowed the car to idle as they planned their next move, which was to visit Bennet’s uncle who lived near the area. The couple were attacked with a hatchet thrown through their windshield by a man in a rabbit costume, whom they were able to evade. This report left no deaths, but began to spark the reports that would popularize the Bunnyman and ultimately alert P.R.I.M.E. to the history of Colchester Bridge. Stories were published about the Bunny Man, with reports suddenly multiplying through the area, including more missing persons, and at least one report of the creature having eaten a man’s runaway cat. These events took place over the next few years, ultimately resulting in the 1976 incident. The sixth incident took place in 1976, in which a group of teens arrived to the Colchester bridge in search of the bunny man. This was a regular occurrence as the popularity of the sightings had brought in tourists to the area who hoped to collect evidence of the Bunny Man’s existence or to potentially even bring him to justice or meet him. In a similar manner to the initial incident in 1918, The five teenagers whom were there, were attacked and subsequently killed by the Bunny Man with one having come up missing, and another making it to a police station to tell them of the event that had taken place. The students involved were Jackson Diaz AGE 17, Edwin Macdonald AGE 15, Mary Schwartz AGE 15, Esperanza Hahn AGE 16, and [REDACTED] AGE 16, with Esperanza being the one who was never found, and Mary being the student whom had provided the police with this information. This sparked a greater investigation by P.R.I.M.E. which further led to the formation of the Mysterious Area Investigation Division (M.A.I.D.) branch of P.R.I.M.E. after discovering anomalous properties at both the Niles Blackwater Asylum and the Colchester Bridge. During these investigations, P.R.I.M.E. determined that the bridge had been converted into a potential Einstein Rosen bridge through arcane methods, accessible through unknown means. During this period, Members of H.E.R.O. have been dispatched to attempt to eliminate the Bunnyman on several occasions, including an event in 1978, 1984, 1985, 1990, 1993, 1999, 2003, 2011, 2014, [REDACTED] and most recently [REDACTED]. The incident which took place in 2013 at 2400 on October 31st is of significant note. After the incident report that the Bunnyman had been sighted, a troupe of six (6) H.E.R.O. Response agents stationed at the Black site M1 were dispatched to the location where they made contact with the subject at 0115 just outside of the Colchester Bridge. Increasing notoriety from various Ghost Hunters and Legend Trippers had caused the location to become increasingly popular beginning in 2003, at which assistance from law enforcement to better control the area increased, with members of P.R.I.M.E. impersonating officers taking point during days deemed spiritually important. This popularity peaked in 2011 in which over two hundred (200) individuals from across the country attempted to visit the bridge during Halloween, sparking a fourteen (14) hour traffic checkpoint to deter individuals from approaching the location. Due to the influx of tourism, the manifestation of the Bunnyman on this day proved to be a particularly deadly encounter which took many resources to
