The rare piece of SFW art while i had some free time, i wanted to design a bird barbarian cause i have really been getting into birds lately >w <

I also wanted to try a new rendering style, this one has a few layers but essentially there is a shading layer for detailing the body, shading layer to establish lighting, and then a bunch more layers for mood lighting and shining the body. All in all i like how it came out and look forward to applying it to NSFW work.

anyway a lil character lore, Ahur'Kal is a warrior from the Sky Raider clans. They hop through planar portals going between the plane of Air and the Material plane to raid like many other barbarian tribes do. Kal is a renowned warrior of Clan Ashur who one day aspires to be Storm Lord, who rules over all the Sky Raider Clans.
