After a long copyright dispute, Disney has released their claim on the YouTube cut to my reaction of Hamilton, and I am happy to share it with you guys first!

If you enjoyed Hamilton let me recommend you two more works Lin-Manuel Miranda created/was involved in: Firstly "Encanto", it's a Disney movie based on Colombia and Colombian culture with songs written by LMM. Not much to say about this one but it has been my favorite Disney movie in a long time. Secondly "In the Heights", another musical by LMM about Washington Heights, a predominantly Latino/Hispanic neighborhood in New York, close to where Lin himself grew up. It's a similar style to Hamilton but was written and performed on Broadway way before Hamilton, you can clearly see some parallels. There is no professional stage recording like for Hamilton but it was turned into a (in my opinion) very good movie musical, same director as the Wicked movie if you've seen that one

Some good musicals ( first two here aren't constant singing for the story ) : Cabaret ( 1972 ), Victor/Victoria ( 1982 ), Rocky Horror Picture Show ( 1975 ), Rocketman ( 2019 Elton's story ), Mamma Mia ( 2008 )
