This is my first-time reaction to the musical Hamilton, which is streaming on Disney plus. I confess I was skeptical about it, but if you haven't watched it yet, this is your chance. I HIGHLY recommend it! It was incredible!

The idea is that you sync your own copy of the musical to "watch along" with me (that's why there's a countdown at the start and a counter throughout). This is a very common way to make full reactions available while avoiding piracy. For obvious reasons I can't make the full musical available to you. I don't own the copyright to it. But I do own my reaction, which is what you're getting here. I'd be glad to provide a refund if you feel misled.

Not just because it's July 4, but because next week - the 11th, I believe - is the anniversary of Hamilton's duel with Aaron Burr. No, the president can't serve more than two non-consecutive terms; the 22nd Amendment says, in black and white, that the president is limited to two terms, period. Dueling wasn't technically legal in New York at the time, hence why they had to cross the Hudson River into New Jersey. It's also why, in "Ten Duel Commandments", one of the "rules" is to ask the doctor to turn around for deniability: if ever called as a witness in a trial, he can't testify that he actually witnessed a duel; he can only testify that he treated a gunshot wound.
