Yes the virus was released there at the airport, but we can infer from the woman on the plane, (the astrophysicist from the future) James accomplished his mission. The message he left alerted the scientists to the correct target. We don't know if Dr Goines assistant will be able to release the virus to other areas, (probably not) but we do know that the future scientists will have access to the original virus, and will be able to find a cure. (Imho lol) And if i could go back in time, I'd go back to this morning. I had the best breakfast ever!! π
