Finally the edited ( YT ) version: Some good post-movie thoughts by you on the unspoken message. The film editing is perfect, getting the viewer to believe they are at the right place, and then revealing they had it wrong and she found the killer by her research. "Buffalo Bill" is inspired by real life killer Ed Gein. ( Trivia: Ted Levine later on played the police Captain on "Monk" tv show ) When the Senator is leaving, Hannibal says "Love the suit." - he was throwing out another clue. Clarice got lucky hearing him, otherwise she might be dead. Calling for back-up would've been the smart thing to do. "Red Dragon" is also a Hannibal L. story, I read the book before the movie, and the book gives a deeper look inside the mind of the killer, but that's common with film versions of books. The movie "Hannibal" doesn't have the same feel as Silence, and also Jodi Foster didn't do the role again because of scheduling conflicts, so Julianne Moore played Clarice. "Hannibal Rising" is a prequel, his origin story, but Anthony Hopkins is not in it.

I enjoyed so much i watched again. I found it ironic Christie putting on lip gloss/stick while he was dolling himself up. I really enjoy this movie and how it builds and keep you attentive without bing overly gory or showing violent deaths. I think you would enjoy Se7en as it is similar in sense its a great movie with violent subjects without being overly violent for the consumer on film.
