She had been hit over the head in her Tempe apartment's parking garage on April 16th and forced into a car. Blood and brain matter were found at the garage crime scene.
She was shot and ultimately set on fire in a car where she was later discovered around 1am on April 17th. Police were alerted to a car on fire and found her body in the backseat after extinguishing the fire. The cause of death as smoke inhalation from the vehicle fire meaning she was alive when the car was set on fire.
