Reseach for vampire release

Here are some research done while trying to transcribe the forms of a vampire armor, taking as reference dracula the film (francis copolla) as well as other references on the internet.

I'll give you some updates until then ;)

One day of work : https://zupimages.net/up/22/42/yjql.png

Heh, a list of the stylish draculas is here. https://ew.com/gallery/dracula-mostleast-stylish/?

The Steve

I haven't watched it much yet, I'm advised, I'm going to watch it.

Scherrer Dorian

As for armor ideas, have you seen the Netflix 'Castlevania' Series? There are two army styles. Not as bat-like, but still something to consider.

The Steve

Not for an army, I need a boss vampire, yes, but there are quite a few chiropteran or bat-like fellows. I need one looking mostly human, and y'know it's hard to say no to the classic opera and cloak.

The Steve

it's especially that I really like the 1992 adaptation my father made me discover it and it is true that artistically speaking we are on something quite occult and dark, and in the stories that I follow writing for the faction I made (in history) blood is of capital importance in magic it is extremely important, as far as vampires are concerned I don't know if I will have time to create a story XD.

Scherrer Dorian

No worries, just something I've noticed and was wondering if it deliberate choice or just a "It's popular so I'll follow along". I wonder if it's a generational thing? The 90's Dracula did cause a lot of art and style changes

The Steve

if you have armor ideas don't hesitate for the refs

Scherrer Dorian

you want to integrate that into an army? it sounds very basic, doesn't it?

Scherrer Dorian

it was in no way intentional, and I didn't even pay attention, I wanted to refer more to the old-fashioned vampire film, while remaining in a gothic aspect from the 1992 genre dracula by francis coppola. I really like these shapes because they remind the wings of a bat too

Scherrer Dorian

Any chance for a classic, Bella Legosi Cape and Widow's peak vampire?

The Steve

I've often wondered why it is that the vampire sets people make quite often have that style of armor, all layered and spiderlike with the pointy bits. LoTP did it, as did AVG, I guess it's a theme that comes from Warhammer fantasy.

The Steve

So looking forward to this one.
