I moved around a lot from childhood until I was in my early thirties, so when I think of a song or see a movie poster or album cover or music video, l immediately recall where I was living and where the TV was when I first saw it. I wonder if maybe it's similar for you bc I seem to remember you mentioning you also moved around a lot.

My Gen-X ass was watching y'all organize Janet and Madonna and the first set of horror movies like "No, no, no, no, no, wrong, oh god, no..." Goodness, my people need to educate the children.
