May 2022 Update

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well!

A quick update to what I've been doing and such, as well as planning on posting some of the pics I've finished here.

For those who aren't in the Discord server, I've been posting some of the pics, both WIPs and finished pics in there. I have been very distracted these days with me going to visit my dad and such, so I've been trying to get a hold of everything I want to do. 

As per usual, I'm working on commissions too, which takes the most of me since I always try to make them look as good as possible, figuring out poses and expressions that work  for them. The problem is that I usually get to be too demanding on myself, feeling that even if I do something good, I feel it's not the best I can do and get to stress myself over this. To combat this, I've been giving myself more time to breathe between projects. Even though I am moving through my pending list, I still find myself feeling like I have to keep going and not give myself much time to work on. I'm sure most of you know this about me but I tend to push my own personal stuff to try and get work done as fast as possible cause I don't like keeping people waiting. I'm feeling better now so I'm hoping to get to a steadier pace now.

Regarding my exclusive works, I have been working on some ideas that I've had in mind and posted them in my Discord server. I will be posting some of them here, but I highly recommend that you check out the server to stay up to date. Will try my best to post them here as soon as I can. I'm also trying to jot down ideas for my own sake. Ideas that I know I want to draw. I've been pretty much stumped trying to come with complex ideas or even make stuff that would go overboard with what I can do right now. Instead, I'm trying to be more flexible with the things I imagine, to just think of the thing that is happening in the pic rather than where, when and why. I do love imagining that stuff, however, I feel that if I take a simple approach to some ideas eventually I'll be able to manage larger stuff like a sequence or even a comic. I also need to figure out how to improve my current characters since none of them really have a clear personality and would help tremendously imagining them in scenarios with clear characteristics to them. Not sure how or where to start with that, but I'll try my best to see what I can do!
