They've spent almost every day lifting and eating to get huge, working on putting as much muscle on their body while keeping their body fat down. It's a struggle, requiring a heavy appetite and constant exercise. They never consider what happens when they are no longer able to spend as much time in the gym as they used to.
It all starts once they reach the peak of their career, winning competitions and quickly becoming recognizable. Brands try to rope them into sponsorships, competitions fly them to judge and promote the event. While all their time is drawn away from the gym, their appetite stays. The banquets and dinners never seem to stop, their learned hunger keeping them eating constantly without any calorie expense.
Their definition is the first thing to go. The muscles and veins that once stayed prominently on their body sink below growing flesh, their shaved body developing a smooth flat appearance. Soon they end up with excess weight, a healthy layer of fat covering their bodies and beginning to sink loosely on their forms. Their cut competition shirts do nothing to hide the sudden size increase, highlighting their spare tire, while their wider waists force them to wear stretchy sweatpants that press tightly into their soft hips.
They still have muscle, but soon resemble just another unfit civilian. Their widened gait cause their entire mass to shake with each step, their sinking love handles and pecs a testament to the weight they've gained. There's nothing they can do but relax and enjoy the attention as their mass slowly increases more and more, unable to do anything about it.
