2024-11-15 10:01:36 +0000 UTCNot caught up with the Krystal Boogie CYOA so I may be missing some information, but it's clear that Krystal has been gathering evidence about the Krystal Fraud roaming around, having collected some evidence pointing to who we know to be Renamon. Additionally, from the "Krystal Mask" image set and the pinned image of a spiral, we know that at the very least the Krystal Mask is capable of overriding a personality with what would initially appear to just be a preset personality. This effectively can turn one person into another. however the string connecting the Renamon icon to the image of a brain under stimulation, and the brain to some piece of technology alludes to the idea that the mask is also capable receiving commands from a third party by stimulating certain areas of the brain. The device depicted looks to be either some handheld or wall mounted device that appears capable of sending and receiving signals, most likely used to communicate commands to the masks host. Now, moving my attention to the Cheque to the right of the device, it on the surface appears to implicate the real Krystal to have some kind of deeper involvement in the technology at work here, however this is most likely just a cheque from Boogie INC that was to be paid out for using Krystals likeness, as while the thought of the cheque being intended for the fraud is a possibility, the memo refers to the mask which would be unnecessary to reference if it was being paid out to someone who is supposedly already assuming the identity provided by the mask. Finally moving onto the employee ID Badge, I can't say for sure whether it belongs to the real or fake Krystal as I haven't gone through prior CYOAs, but if I were to infer based on what can be seen, I would assume the ID belongs to the fake Krystal, and would most likely correlate to the device just a bit above. Now with all this information in mind, I personally would conclude that this is potentially leading to at the very least some kind of plot to kidnap Krystal, so going forward, it would be wise to keep Krystal within sight to ensure her safety if worse comes to worst
