That the Angel has just kind of buzzed off, which would be, by far, the lamest hivemind I've ever seen. And also a very strange one. In that it's just a bunch of people chilling. No divine overmind or separate overseer. Just a goofy metaphor for science, by being the very straightforward idea of "people collaborating and building on knowledge is good." (or the old, pre-capital gift society, you make the call!)
