What is a Father to you? We decided to tackle some different types of Dad's and the relationships they have with their sons and daughters.

We get to see Lily's parents again, Arum and Forest, and the loving relationship they have as a family.

We see Shining Armor, Cadence, and Flurry Heart sharing a moment! A Dad loves to see when his little daughter can finally express her love back!

Long distance or fractured relationships are a real thing. We've touched on the fractured relationship in the past with Starlight and her Dad, and we see a bit of it here. But at least they are talking. Long-distance relationships with Twilight and her father. We also see acceptance by Twilight's father, pulling in Spike as part of the family. They are so intwined, even Spike calls his non-biological Dad, his Dad!

Lastly we punch you in the stomach. We have loving relationships with family member's no longer on this earth. Hopefully in a better place, looking down upon us and smiling.

We just really wanted to show appreciation to all the Father's out there on this Father's Day special episode. Hopefully next year we will do one for Mom's.
