'notha thing, the door closes immediately behind us once we go through, so for anyone worried that big guy might spot us, that won't happen. He needs to physically turn his camera around the corner to see us, and by the time he's doing that, we would have already gone through the door and been shielded from view.

2022-10-06 22:22:57 +0000 UTCWe went straight into this room before, and while it didn't immediately do something bad, it did start us on a loop and eventually get us a game over. Therefore, I think we should go with option B this time. I'm pretty confident we'll survive and break the loop if we play the waiting game for just a bit

2022-10-06 22:04:55 +0000 UTCIt is our best option if we are ever going to get past the other room.

2022-10-06 20:47:25 +0000 UTC-cracks knuckles- Okay, folks, listen up, here's our game plan. We wait, then move into the next room. We attract the vent-guarding boogie in the next room. By the time we retreat back to the hallway, big guy will have moved on, leaving us clear to get our fat ass back into the vent and scramble to the other side before the vent guard gets back. Lickity split, that's how we do this, anything else and we'll be going in circles. EDIT: To elaborate, we can't pick option A because as showcased before, if we do that, by the time we get back to the hallway again, big guy would have had enough time to complete the circuit and start rounding the corner. He's actually a little bit faster than we realize, so waiting will mean he's in prime position to be out of the way for certain next time.

2022-10-06 20:13:45 +0000 UTCPerhaps you should elaborate for our agents a little, MrToastsandwich. What are the merits of A vs B by your estimate.

2022-10-06 20:05:56 +0000 UTCThis is it, moment of truth! We really need to consider our timing here, so that we can make sure big guy is at a safe distance when we return to the vent. EDIT: What I mean by all this is that it feels like option B is the smarter option (in my opinion anyway). We need to make sure that we have enough time to distract the boogie in the other room and make it back to the vent before big guy sees us. Considering we entered immediately last time and by the time we made it back, big guy was just about to cut the corner to the vent. If we wait for as long as we’re able this time, then we might make it!

2022-10-06 19:36:01 +0000 UTCLet's wait as we didn't do this option last time and I suspect it will be on the right timing if we wait.

2022-10-06 19:26:00 +0000 UTCYou all every wonder what some of the other game overs would have been?
2022-10-06 19:19:46 +0000 UTCAh right, because we waited until it passed the vent before we got to the door. That's a fair assessment.

2022-10-06 19:12:26 +0000 UTCA thought just occurred to me, correct me if im wrong people It seems like every time it mentions confidence, it always lead to the wrong decision
CosmicNeko
2022-10-06 19:09:52 +0000 UTCAlternatively, we can determine it’s on the other side of the hallway and head straight for the vent
CosmicNeko
2022-10-06 19:07:29 +0000 UTCWe're going to need to draw away the vent boogie's attention and then dash back to the vent from the other side while it's investigating, right? We'll need to wait for the camera boogie to get close enough that we'll be in the other room while it passes. That way, we'll be able to follow behind it out-of-sight once we return to the circular hallway, right? Otherwise, we run the risk of running smack dab into it when we return.
