Who Is Rarity To You?
Added 2021-12-06 02:57:58 +0000 UTCRarity is many things in AT&F just as she was in the tv show. We as a fandom... a community got to watch her character evolve and live her passions. She expressed them through her love of fashion as well as with generosity towards her friends. She is always willing to provide a hand, given she isn't too busy with something else. Yes, Rarity had her flaws, but that is what makes characters more believable and enjoyable to see grow and change over time.
In AT&F, she may be one of the more conflicting characters. She's juggling her business and is often seen having tea with Twilight. Probably more than any other Mane 6 member in AT&F, she is with Twilight. Her character is kind, loving, and generous, but she has her strange kinks and insecurities as well. She seems at times to be addicted to promiscuity and even has the stresses of the world upon her shoulders. She's even taken out that frustration on her friends before, and thankfully they were there to support her. But all that aside, she does her best to provide support to her friends and tries to help Twilight grow in her relationships as well.... even if at times weird. She also housed and helped Coco Pommel and Greg as they searched for a new place to live and has been supportive for Coco for as long as they've known each other. She's strong and stands up for what she believes in and loves. Maybe most importantly, she loves her family. She's always there to support and provide a loving warm place for her sister Sweetie Belle... except on ladies night. But hey, we can't all be perfect, but this gem of a friend is indeed a rarity.

And you mention those kinks, ponies don't have those...things so every episode with weird joke is surprisingly child-friendly!

Such as, focusing on work and still trying to help friends and family but at times get lost in work and need a helping hand myself. As far as what I think would be good to add for her character in the series… she’s craving a stallion in uniform! Needs one! Why don’t ya’ll at AT&F give her a helping hand. She doesn’t ask for much! Haha xD Help a mare out! Also side note I like how you guys write her character where she is promiscuous but is definitely self aware and even then still helps Twilight and the gang all at the same time and makes for a good gag for the comic ;) momma knows best!

She wants love and claims to have a knowledge about it, but some of her impressions leave me thinking her idea of love is based around basic gossip magazines and soap operas. Things that think that understand “love” but don’t really have a clue.
