2023-06-16 23:10:43 +0000 UTCYeah, I've seen a lot if that. I've seen artwork that I know was from other artists i follow and it makes me sick. There are some legit ai artists out there who do amazing works of their own but there are too many that just do this crap.

Sales sites have banned it, (https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2023-05-12/dlsite-ci-en-pixiv-fanbox-fantia-ban-ai-generated-content/.198000) countries are treating it like copyright infringement (https://www.siliconera.com/ai-art-will-be-subject-to-copyright-infringement-in-japan/), and, as everybody already knew, without being able to steal people's artwork it doesn't work (https://venturebeat.com/ai/the-ai-feedback-loop-researchers-warn-of-model-collapse-as-ai-trains-on-ai-generated-content/). So just like NFTs and other tech garbage, it's going to fade away. Good riddance.
