2024-01-25 21:09:01 +0000 UTCComing Home was a great reference for the departure records, they tried something and in the moment it flopped, returned to their more traditional style and had the vinyl on B9, and seeing them tour on that record and playing songs from Coming Home made me revisit it, and it might be my favorite record from NFG. Another departure example would be On a Wire by Get Up Kids, the follow up Guilt Show was more like Something to Write Home about, but still never fully returned the audience they had with that record, but long term I love On a Wire.
