Or is life just long and you'll see the good and bad in everything over time? Also, how far is hardcore-adjacent from hardcore? And why aren't we hearing about some adjace we may love?

This gave me a lot to reflect on. My connection to hardcore has been almost entirely transactional past my teens, meaning I listen mostly in isolation and my support is through purchasing records, I have no community and am not looking for one. I have a couple of friends that I’ve kept since then but thats regardless of HC as was said. You are all more heavily involved so I see why its more intense on your end.

2022-02-17 23:26:06 +0000 UTCThis is a topic I’ve been mulling over in my head for years, and it’s something I see in the gaming communities I exist in low orbit to; people being hurt to discover their peers aren’t what they thought without realizing a shared interest doesn’t mean you know or are close to really any of them. Something I would sit down and talk about but maybe not share all my thoughts on a public forum but y’all aren’t alone in these sorts of musings
