This was a very close runner up for December's poll, and it felt like the right theme for me to work on over the holidays!
I recently bought some Procreate brushes from True Grit Texture Supply that closely mimic traditional media, and I wanted to try those out on this set. I mainly used KolorMarc, which is meant to look like alcohol markers. Old wooden toys seemed like the perfect subject for trying out a more textured coloring style, and I'm rather happy with the results. I'm looking forward to getting better at these brushes and analog-looking digital art in general in the future!
I'm extra curious what you guys think of this month's set since its pretty different from my other sets. Let me know!!
